What is IP Address Subnetting

What is IP Address Subnetting :- Dividing a single Network into multiple Network. Subnetting is also called as FLSM (Fixed Length Subnet Mask).

Subnetting can be done in three ways :-
# Requirement of Networks.
# Requirement of Hosts.
# CISCO/Notation.

Example of Class B :-

Requirement of Networks
Requirement Subnet = 4

255.255.255.255 - 255.255.192.0 = 0.0.63.255

Network IP	Broadcast IP
172.16.0.0	172.16.63.255
